At Anniston Academy, we believe that every child deserves access to a nurturing and individualized education. To support this commitment, we offer various tuition assistance options to help families manage the cost of education in Middle Tennessee. Here's an overview of the programs available:
1. Katie Beckett Waiver
Designed for families of children with disabilities who qualify for state-funded support, the Katie Beckett Waiver provides financial assistance for specialized educational and therapeutic services. Families need to apply through their state's Medicaid program and provide verification of approval. Our admissions and billing teams will collaborate with you to coordinate covered services and tuition payments. Please note, a Letter of Necessity from your medical provider may be required.
2. Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship Program
Ideal for families utilizing school choice programs, this scholarship allows you to apply state-allocated education dollars toward tuition and related expenses. Families must apply for the program and receive funding approval before enrollment. Our billing department is here to assist with fund disbursement and documentation requirements.
3. Individualized Education Account (IEA) Program
For students with an active Individualized Education Plan (IEP), the IEA Program offers funds for qualified education expenses, including private school tuition. Eligible K-12 students with qualifying conditions can benefit from this program.
4. Direct Payments
For families who prefer to pay directly, we accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), ACH bank transfers, and traditional checks/money orders. Payments can be made monthly, quarterly, or annually based on your chosen tuition plan. We also offer the convenience of automatic payments.
Our goal is to make quality education accessible to all families. For more detailed information on these tuition assistance options, please visit our Tuition Assistance page. If you have any questions or need assistance with the application process, feel free to contact our admissions office. We're here to help you navigate these options and find the best solution for your family's needs.
5. Local Scholarship Opportunities: Coming Soon!
In addition to state-funded and need-based aid, we're actively working to partner with local organizations in Cookeville and community leaders to offer scholarship opportunities exclusive to Anniston Academy families. These scholarships would be designed to support students based on merit, need, and community involvement. The details are still in progress, but be sure to sign up for our newsletter to stay updated as these opportunities become available! You can sign up for the mailing list from our homepage at annistonacademy.com.
